Well Ms. Marlow, being from Brooklyn, I'll bet that you don't have many poisonous snakes there. We, on the other hand, have our fair share of them. I have to admit that I also killed a snake a couple of weeks ago. It was a water moccasin, about 4' long. One bite could have killed one of my pets. I will continue to kill all poisonous snakes that cross my path.
The fact is that for the first time in his political life, he was challenged by someone many times more capable that he is. NObama thought that he could stroll into this debate and take over. He underestimated his opponent. Romney acted like the professor giving a student a lesson in economics while the student hung his head in shame.
Romney really took NObama to the cleaners. He made him look like a chastised child.
Can't wait until Ryan and Byden debate. It won't really be a debate though. Byden will bring his knife to the gunfight.
I'm with you, Norman. Obama's speeches now are almost the same as they were four years ago. The only difference I see is that four years ago, he stated that if he couldn't turn this economy around in 3 years, that it was a one term proposition. His speeches now say that he needs another four years. My question is this: If he gets reelected, who is he going to blame for the last four years?
I think that Dusty got his conventions mixed up. NObama's speech was flat and almost identical to the one he gave four years ago. Nothing new. He just wants four more years to really screw things up. When the former Adulterer in Chief got up to speak, it sounded like he was campaigning for Billary for a 2016 run.
Time for the Amateur (or "Deceiver") to move aside. I hear where UNC Chapel Hill is looking for a new Chancellor who loves basketball and Socialism. Perhaps NObama would qualify. After all, he was a community organizer.
Whether you read the book or not, the last four years have proven that NObama is either truely an amateur or a clever deceiver. I tend to believe the latter. NObama has brought this country to an all time low by apologizing for everything we do or have ever done, that has made us great. It' time to turn the page and restore honor and respect to the US. Years from now, we can look back on this and refer to it as just a bad memory.
An idiot can do far more damage with a ballot than he can with a bullet--our current situation providing ample proof. Right you are Behan, but we can make it right in November by getting NObama out.
After reading this you will know more about this candidate than you do about the current occupant of the White House, and it's only one paragraph long.
Mitt Romney from his Mitt Romney 2012 Site: After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar, but never worked as an attorney. As a venture-capitalist, Romney's first major business deal involved investing in a start-up office supply company with one store in Massachusetts that sold office supplies.
That company, called Staples, now has over 2,000 stores and employs over 90,000 people. Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.
Got your calculators handy? Let's recap :
- Volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.
- Unpaid intern in Governor's office 8 years.
- Mormon missionary in Paris 2 years.
- Unpaid bishop and stake president for his church 10 years.
- No salary as president of the Olympics 3 years.
- No salary as MA governor 4 years.
That's a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his community and his church.

" fatboy - At a Democratic rally last week, Biden said that the country was better after four years of NObama, and he said to the crowd that he couldn't take the time to explain because it was too hot outside."
Yes - I am certain he said just that ........... with press all around. But of course - you were there and recorded it - right?
No, I wasn't there, but I heard the entire clip and it wasn't on one of the mainstream liberal stations.
