The only people who will benefit from this are the bike riders. It's not going to add any new spaces and, contrary to one of the advantages touted in the article, it will make it harder to load your car, since the trunk will now be against the railroad tracks, with no sidewalks.
What's the point of changing? The report says there will be no increase in the number of parking spaces, so all that is being done is adding to the confusion that visitors to the downtown have. Now in addition to "yield to the left" they have to learn back-in parking.
It seems that the only group that will benefit from this is bike riders.
I also don't understand hoew doing this will change the behavior of 80% of the drivers in this area. The article states "drivers will signal, pass their spot and back into it instead of entering front first." So drivers are going to start to signal now? If that happens, it will all be worth it, since most don't signal now.
The stupid comment that it allows easier loading and unloading since trunks back up to the sidewalk has already been highlighted. Obviously, whoever put that in the article has never driven on Broad St.
I like the other article about life back in the 50's, when 'gay' meant happy or glad, before the meaning was perverted to try to give an aura of legitimacy to a perverted lifestyle.
Between South Henly and Brucewood, according to the Fayetteville Observer. But they also reported that he wasn't wearing a helmet. What's the real story?
"some do enlist because they are not the perfect specimen for normal life in a free society"
So I guess for normal life in a free society you need to be a high school drop out, have a criminal record, use drugs, have medical problems and be fat.
Because citizens with those qualities do not meet the minimum standards to volunteer to serve their country in the Armed Forces.

I saw a more recent estimate: the Russians will fly our astronauts to the space station at no cost.
They will charge us $62.7M to bring them home.
