I was in Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Phillips combination class. Mrs. Simmons (Bobbitt) was always a wonderful lady. As soon as I realized this was a leap year, she was the first person I thought of. Just to give you an idea of how long she's been a teacher, I can tell you I remember watching the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in her classroom.

My mom and late grandma cooked this way my entire life. I'm white and I never heard it called Soul Food until I was grown. It was just mama's cooking. D*mn good too!

I'm sure the people on WRAL giving her a hard time are perfect parents. You know, the kind that don't have kids and know exactly how to raise them. I wouldn't leave my kids in a running car, but but she made a mistake, and i'm sure she is beating herself up enough.

I have never heard one positive thing about fracking. I will admit that I don't know alot about it, but I hear alot about it lately. I've never heard one positive point from anyone that is near a fracking site.

He's simply saying that when times were tough, his dad did what he had to do to eat. Even if it meant working the lowest paying jobs available, it was still pay. Now people have the option to say I would rather get food stamps at others expense than to work for minimum wage.

I would just like to say that I am very thankful for Moore County Sheriffs Dept taking this guy down. This restaurant is located in a peaceful area of town and had no business selling Meth there. I am glad that law enforcement kept their eyes open and took care of the problem. The bad part is that I just rode by this place the other day and was thinking that I was happy for them for keeping their business open for so long in this location. This little building has held a long line of businesses that don't last very long.
