Once you qualify for food stamps there is a whole plethora of freebies that awaits you. Medicaid, cell phone, wic, free clinic, and health care reform coming soon. It is just sickening to watch how people abuse the system. I do realize and have witnessed many people that really need the help. That's one thing. But when you see someone walking around, able bodied, using EBT, it can really get under your skin. If I were in a position to have to feed my family and had no work I would gladly flip a burger to do so. If you can get out of bed in the morning you can drop fries in a fryer or punch keys on a cash register! The problem is that it's just as easy to make minimum wage by saying there is no work and collecting all of the freebies mentioned above. I know it's not a free luxury ride, we all do, but it's still a free ride, and many abuse it.
Most companies are providing virtual solutions to their employees just for this purpose. Bring your own machine and log into a virtual terminal. Tablets are very relevant.
