And they admit it should have been increased, so again: WHERE'S THE COVERUP?
Never mind: "Benghazi coverup" has become part of the wingnut faith. And by faith, I'm using the definition "firm belief in something for which there is no proof ".
DR, I have read the page you referenced 3 times now, I fail to see how it answers the question that has been raised.
You can lead a wingnut to answers, but you can't make him think.
"Special Mission Benghazi's uncertain future after 2012 and its "non-status" as a temporary residential facility made allocations of resources for security and personnel more difficult, and left responsibility to meet security standards to the working level in the field, with very limited resources."
I'm sorry, if you still don't get how that answers the question of why security wasn't beefed up, then I can't help you any more.
Davey: Were you born after the Iraq War? I remember the press blindly printing any and every bit of BS Cheney and Company fed them, after which the Bushistas would go "even the New York Times says we're right." See Miller, Judith.
geoff - We were right about the tea baggers. And I'm still waiting to hear what all this pants-wetting over Benghazi! is about. Where was the outrage when our embassies and consulates suffered twenty-three fatal attacks during the Bush years?
And now it turns out the Rethuglicans have been lying about what was in the White House e-mails on Benghazi.
Wingnuts lying for political gain. Who'd a thunk it?
Thanks for the kind words, pulled pork. I agree about the wood. But the landlord tells us the project's not finished yet. Trying to get them to either finish or take their stuff with them.
This is why non-wingnut America sees this farce of an investigation for what it is: a partisan witch-hunt.
News of the Obama Administration’s role in the extensive editing of CIA talking points on Benghazi rocked the political world last week and prompted a demand from Speaker of the House John Boehner for the release of all related White House emails, but it should not have been a revelation to the Speaker.
The White House first briefed the House leadership on the talking point revisions on March 19. The briefing was given to the House Intelligence Committee, but the White House also invited Speaker Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to attend or to send a senior staff member.
Boehner did not attend, but he did send staff, according to the Speaker’s office. Those attending the closed briefing were permitted to view the emails, but not to copy them.
The Speaker made no public reference to the emails — or the news of the State Department’s role in removing references to terror warnings in Benghazi — until the story became public last week.

There's no bias. The press sucks in general.

Pulledpud pretty much admits that the whole thing is all about "get Hillary."
And which e-mails would those be, pulledpud? The dishonestly "edited" ones the Republicans claim or the real ones?

What is this letter writer saying here? We should have arrested the guy because of his name?
I'm honestly baffled by the point of this.

Republicans Are in Payback Mode
As for the IRS: Remember the outrage over Bush-era IRS auditing of the NAACP? Remember the outrage over Bush-era IRS audits of Greenpeace? Remember the outrage when a liberal Episcopal church in Pasadena said some critical anti-war things about Dubya before the 2004 election that resulted in the church being targeted by the IRS?
Yeah, me neither.

Looks like Boehner knew about the e-mails regarding the "talking points" , didn't mention them, and is now claiming they were "covered up."
This is why non-wingnut America sees this farce of an investigation for what it is: a partisan witch-hunt.
