I'm not a parent, just a fan! I just think it makes the whole school look bad to other teams that travel here to play. Just sayin... nobody even thought about providing a flag either.
Very proud of the Lady Vikings, but I do want to say that it seems like the school isn't so proud of them. Come on Union Pines, get behind your ladies!!! No concessions at a State playoff game??? There wasn't even an American Flag flying, very embarrassing I would say especially when the National Anthem was played.
I just think its a shame that the school doesn't support these ladies like they deserve, but they didn't let it stop them from winning and that is AWESOME!!!

I can tell you that during lunch time, the folks that work on highway 5 have a problem when they get caught by the train. They get exactly an hour for lunch and they have to clock in and out. If they are late, nobody cares if a train is there!
Saturday school doesn't bother me, I don't like the fact that they are using Good Friday when clearly they have other days set aside, but it is what it is. As a Christian, I will respect what has been decided and do what needs to be done and send my son to school.
There is no reason for anger on this matter, please don't send this message. Christianity is about love, not hate or anger. Yes we need to stand up for Jesus! But do it in love or the message gets lost!
To all the hard working teachers in Moore County, I gladly praise everything you do for our children! For those who don't realize the sacrifices teachers make, spend some time with one and see how much they actually do in a day! They need their work days, and probably don't have enough!
