County is not interested in the Robbins supply any longer, It is smart for Robbins to pursue quickly and through all means to get the old plant up and running (it was produicing when it was shut down) until another way to produce or obtain water is found! i understand that the Montgomery supply has been causing propblems of late and Robbins certainly needs to control its on destiny!

The city limits do not extend that far, it ends on Hemp street at the first house on the left past OAK Street, and on the first house on the right past EMMA Lane.

  1. YES! join with Moore County building inspector to accomplish, but some of the houses you refer to are probably on Hemp st OUT of the city limits; 2. Sidewalk at park? Tracy Brown? or Milliken? 3. True! maybe any help to offer to building owners a discounted price to do them all? next 3. Make proposal to Town Board for new trees? 4. YES, could someone visit the building owners and offer help? thats old Robbins Primary school , which is privately owned, maybe if someone contacted the owner and offer asssitance it could be accomplished.

According to the Register of Deeds website the MIll property was deeded to a DS-NTZ LLC and looking on the NC Secretary of States office that company was dissolved! If one would go look they would see why clean up is necessary. I guess sort of like the Aberdeen Superfund cleanup funding from years ago. I think the Mayor is to be commended for parterning with Northern Moore Family Resource and finding a way to clean up this dangerous site!

Its good to see that someone can still "rise up through the ranks" within Local Government. Wayne Vest has a proven track record of management and supervision by leading the tax department for many years. Having a vast amount of contacts within Moore County and the State will help him to be successful. Being a Moore County native son is an additional plus, as he has added incentive to help Moore County and its great group of employees reach higher goals. Congratulations to our New Manager.

AS normal not the whole story was written, All the Churches and all the people that helped. But thats ok, the people receiving the assistance is what counts.
