Similar event happened to my Son and I about 8 years ago. We won the door prize at a Father/Son golf tournament. The prize was a 4 wheel ATV. This ATV was on display at the tournament, and was pictured in fliers promoting the event. When we went to this unnamed dealer to collect our prize, the owner pointed to a small two wheel dirt bike as the "prize" that he was giving away. This bike had a retail value that was half of the advertised ATV. With my very excited ten year old Son at my side this Man verbally assaulted me and threatened to kick me off the premises when I told him this was not what was advertised. He even threatened to call his lawyer. The sponsors of the event were mortified, and when he realized his lawyer was mine, and after a phone call from said lawyer he did apologize and award us the 4 wheel ATV. Then of course he told me if I ever needed a new car to come see him, yea right.
