I agree, she has the right to her opinion and state it respectfully, which I believe she has. But cut the crap and call the article for what it is. Another article bashing the Obama's. I read nothing else into the article other than that.

You totally disgust me. Whining and crying about Obama lying and throwing out the bipartisan card. When the Republican's in this country were set on destroying this country just to get Obama voted out. Guess what if you check the number of votes that were cast, overall, you will find that the Democrats garnered more votes than the GOP. The only reason the GOP won the house was because the districts were skewed in their favor. If they would have been drawn fairly, there is no way the GOP would be in control. My suggestion is for you to grow up, quit whining and learn the art of cooperation. Instead your bound and determined to stand around and throw temper tantrums because you can't possibly fathom the fact that the majority of the voting public thinks the GOP policies are crap.

It's so typical of the Republicans in this county. A story about a local restaurant closing turns into an Obama hate fest. Look get the heck over it, Obama has been elected for a second term by the voting public. He is the President until January 20, 2017. PERIOD PERIOD PERIOD If all you have to do is spend your hours and days hating, then I feel sorry for you. It's too bad some people filled with so much hate can't find an outlet. But then you have the right to hate the government, unlike those in other countries, such as China and North Korea. While I haven't done any research on the subject, I don't thing it's to far of a stretch to surmise that the national GOP and the public in general is tiring of the haters. Unfortunately lost in all this, is the fact that a local business is closing, and people are losing their jobs.

To bad you didn't bother to check with the mid level or lower level guys. The privates on up to Colonel who support you flag officers and make you look good. And who get the "crap" when you screw up. Thanks for proving what the Republican party is really all about.

I can sympathize with Mr. Owen's opinion. As a former Reagan Republican, this party has no resemblance to that Republican Party. It makes me sad and ashamed to even say that I once considered myself a Republican. While I am, by no means, saying the people that consider themselves moderate to liberal are perfect, the current version of the Republican party seems to be losing touch more and more every day. The current version of the Republicans are so much more obnoxious, mean, and less tolerant of other people's feelings and beliefs that it is turning them into a party that is fast becoming irrelevant. A perfect example, while driving down the street in a local community I saw a sign in someones front yard. It said "Democrats reject God" While everyone has a right to their opinion and express said opinion, that sign is a perfect example of the disrespect and obnoxiousness of the current version of Republicans. While the debate on the blasphemy of such an act is best left to religious scholars, it is certainly an arrogant and disgusting display in itself. If this is what the current version of the GOP is, then I reject it wholeheartedly. If this is the way Christians are suppose to act and it's the only way to heaven, then I choose to burn.

Rape is rape, it's morally and legally wrong. I don't need to be a born again christian or any other kind of christian to know it's morally wrong. I learned to respect a woman, regardless, it's part of who I am. It appears to me in Mr. Akin's comments that he has no respect for women and considers them in a lower class. To me, that attitude is just as dangerous a rapist. Morals and good judgement doesn't come from a god, in my opinion. I don't need a bible or belief in an diety to tell me right from wrong and treating people with kindness and respect is the way to go. However, if that belief gets one through the day, then so be it, you have to do what makes you happy.

If you don't like what Chik Fil A does with it's money or it's stance on issues then don't buy their product. That's what I've chosen to do. What disheartens me is people are willing to put their money into a greasy chicken sandwich in the name of a cause, whether it be jesus, marriage, or gay rights. Call me crazy, but would it not be better to put that money into say a homeless shelter, battered women's shelter, or an animal shelter? I know Chik donates some money to charities and so forth, but I'd rather donate my money to the charity of my choice instead of just a few pennies from a Chik dollar going to their "charity of choice" and the rest of that dollar going to executives and stock holders. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the face of jesus in a chicken sandwich next.

I agree with CC85 show some class. Those of you who have nothing better to do than try to ruin a local citizens chance of a lifetime have no respect. This is the United States, you have a right to your opinion and the right to convey that opinion, but jeez give it a rest, trying to rain on a great honor for someone is not how to do it. There are plenty of other forums around here to do that. Besides when these rants about Obama, blah blah blah continue on, it makes that person look like a bitter old white guy. And how many young people really want to be part of a group of bitter old white guys.

If 27 percent like DR and 63 percent don't..... Does that mean 10 percent don't care or just don't come out of their bubble?

I meant if she vetoes it, the legislature will just over turn it just because they can.
