Robbins police Chief Jeff Sheffield is outspoken and opposed to this viper system. The county needs to listen to the people who depend on communications for their safety.

Another thing is liability, if an emergency worker goes down or needs assistance inside of a buliding or rural dead spot, the County would be guilty of negligence for forcing the Viper on those that know it is deficient.

@wdd101st- Yes, the Robbins Record was awesome, they reported the news instead of stiring it up and manufacturing it.
This was what the majority of the citizens wanted and is the first move in the right direction. The Pilot is apparently blowing this way out of shape.
