Having Sunday off from hearing constant gunfire close by is a God Send during hunting season.
Nothing surprises me coming out of that General Assembly these days, what a bunch of tools.
I would like to add while many landowners in Lee County have already signed leases about 3 years ago there still are a LOT of people who live in the fracking areas that will have no choice in the matter due to not owning their mineral rights.
Dan Butler of Southern Pines is a huge proponent of fracking because he owns about 2500 acres of mineral rights in Lee county that many "surface only owners" live on top of.
It's going to be so sad and frustrating for many residents who live in the fracking areas that will be subject to HUGE, LOUD AND SMELLY Industrial operations going on within yards of their home due to having no
control over what our legislators are fast tracking and ramming down out throats.
If this were not such a serious issue to our citizens and the environment it would almost be laughable the way our GA is handling this fracking situation.
I had always heard it called " noodling" but sure wouldn't catch me doing this sport !
