This has been the most beneficial program for so many people since it began & if anyone can donate to this cause, please do! I'm sure the've actually saved lives of some who would not have gotten help had it not have been for this program . For those who didn't qualify for medicaid but had no health insurance, they have been a real blessing. So if anyone is thinking of donating to a worthy cause, this is it !!
Yes, and I was thinking the same thing too... I miss reading the blogs on those! Also, they might actually help law enforcement sometimes when someone might say something that might lead them in the right direction??? You never know!
I agree with MichaelFlorence..This clinic has a "heart of gold" to the people of Moore County who have been able to benefit from their wonderful free service of healthcare.All you great professionals who've been a part of all this deserve a standing ovation and all the support from anyone & everyone around here who can please dig as deeply as you can to support them & keep this clinic up & running.It is a true Godsend to so many people in Moore County.Please give to this organization if you can !
I agree with Lee McGraw.Just look at the good business McDonald's does & did it hurt Ronnie's Chuckwagon?...No, not judging from all the vehicles parked there everytime we pass by. I remember all the protesting & petitioning that went on then..None of us like to eat at the same place every day.We like a "choice", and it's also nice to have more places to shop so we don't have to drive all the way to Aberdeen or Southern Pines.We've got lots of room to grow here before we need to complain !!

What this town needs is a Walmart, a Walgreens & a Golden Corral or Denny's..We'd have more jobs and we wouldn't have to go to Aberdeen or Southern Pines to drive through that over-crowded Walmart parking lot (which we don't go to much just because of that).The nearest one up this way is either Sanford or Biscoe and they're just as far.I believe that Walmart being the only halfway affordable chainstore would do well here.Why can't Carthage try and get some of these businesses to locate here?Biscoe is hardly any bigger than Carthage! Maybe Carthage just wants courthouse business??
