There seems to be confusion with Mr. Benway's understanding of some terms.

If it is true that employees found out about the closing when they showed up for work, it shows poor business practices in general and is a pretty lousy way to do things. I don't believe the bland sausage and ham being sold as national brands is actually Smithfield or Armor or whatever it was represented to be or I would have been a repeat customer.
Sizzlin' Steak or Eggs food is always excellent and cooked as ordered.

It all makes me wonder if any real consideration has been given to the added wear and tear on the roads from trucks heavy laden from the processes of hydraulic fracturing. About a weeks' worth of unusually high volume of dump trucks on Niagara-Carthage Rd. did some serious damage. Does NCDOT absorb the cost of repair when all the out of state gas companies pack up and head home after the damage is done to our state roads ?
They certainly do good work, so glad to hear they were able to help.
Hopefully the Bell family will choose to be leaders in good stewardship by making sure that where possible non-impervious surfaces ane native plants are used and other conservation practices are put into place to demonstate how much they care about this place we all call home.
Holding discussions about county property behind closed doors makes me not trust Picerno or any of the others involved in that type of sneaky behavior. He has already proven that he disregards the rules.
