Mr. Nagy could you clarify your answer to the question of online content vs. print content. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like (except for breaking news) if I look for an article online that appears in that days print issue it won't be available until later in the day. If someone wants to pay for digital content, and save trees, they won't be as up to date online as they would if they were print and digital subscribers.
The Pilot likes to issue editorials that defend "Sunshine Laws" and berate state politicians who flaunt those laws. When it comes to local issues they are very hypocritical in that regard.
Have to agree with Science and TF121 on this one. Dusty has no vote since he has his self interest at stake here.
If you subscribe to online content will you still have to wait until noon to read material that is in the print edition that day? Hello Pilot - anybody home?

I love this statement:
"The job wasn't professional in those days. It was political. Carter found that out when he asked the sheriff for a job."
It's so professional these days that Bob Levy gets to hand pick his replacement. What a joke.
Great article. I can remember our first visit to Pinehurst. We were sitting in the Deli, having breakfast, and talking about how Pinehurst looked just like it was in the old photos in the Given Library. Other small towns, by now, would have a set of "Golden Arches" smack dab in the middle of the Village Green.

TF121 - Good point - They used to call it "free speech". Maybe we will have to pay to post now like another commenter stated.
