Hey ChuckTaylor - we don't need more "Would you like butter on that popcorn" jobs.
Hey JD -Mr. iMax - welcome to the 80's.
Hey Chuck - People move here because it's not "any town,USA" that all look the same. Shopping malls and the golden arches on every street. You fit right in with the other great minds like the Chief & Davey.
Grow or die.
Get a life.
Don't like it move.
Simple solutions from simple people.
People keep comparing Moore Co. to Montgomery. Apples & Oranges. They don't have the golf & resorts which have existed a long time without a Dunkin Doughnuts & Wal-Mart.
Once you get a Dunkin Doughnuts - there's no turning back.
Here's my point:
Pebble Beach Company Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Pebble Beach Company. Founded in 1975, the Foundation has continuously invested where it can make the most significant impact—in the youth of Monterey County. Over the years the Foundation has given more than $3.5 million in grants to support and enhance educational programs that span the arts, sciences, sports and technology. It has also provided college scholarships to individual youths and it is the proud steward of the Phil Hill Scholarships.
Several charities also benefit each year from ticket sales and opportunity drawings at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, including
Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP)
Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County
Voices for Children (CASA)
Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula
Natividad Medical Foundation
United Way Monterey County
I missed the part where it stated the amount that went to charity??

A Good Old White Guy - who'd a thunk it?
