Tremor From Virginia Quake Rattles County

Thanks for the quick report. I was sitting in my kitchen eating my lunch and felt my chair sway and wondered if it was a tremor. It has been a long time since I have experienced one.

I am the proud new mother of Duffy, the brother of Cowboy and India. The Duff looks just like Cowboy. Duffy was rescued by Solutions for Animals, who worked so hard to rescue these two along with Moore Humane. I am so glad you were able to bring them into your shelter so that they have a chance to find loving homes! Duffy is a wonderful dog who is gaining confidence every day. He has a lot to learn since he was ignored in a backyard pen during his first puppy months, but he is eager to please and in 4 short weeks he has come a long way. We are anxious to get him into the pool (or a kiddie pool to lounge in) during the hot summer months. He seems interested in the water but hasn't been in yet. He behaves very well indoors and has lots of doggie toys and things to chew on so he won't chew anything he is not supposed to.

If anyone has room for a giant dog who is a messy drinker, who needs brushing regularly, loves all people and dogs, and a fantastic companion, please visit with Cowboy and India!

Here Comes the Sun

When I saw this the first thing that popped into my head was a song by Raffi called "Mr. Sun". The lyrics start like this: Oh Mr Sun, Sun, Mr Golden Sun Please shine down on me ... I must have listened to Raffi's Singable Song Collection 10,000 times with my daughter ( a long time ago!). Don't know if John III remembers.
