What makes a man go to a place of employment by his estranged spouse, fully armed, and not purposefully plan to do something like kill innocent bystanders while trying to find his target? Was it too much alcohol that may have invaded his system (spirits) or was it the illusions of grandeur payback for his estranged spouse leaving him and wanting to teach her a lesson? Whatever his STATE of mind, I am sure there will be a spin on it. Like the "poor me" syndrome which we find so many using these days. Bottom line: This was a NATIONAL news event, so where in the world would you expect the man go to have a "fair" trial? Maybe some other country?

You would have thought the out of his mind or body experience should have informed him of consequences after pulling the trigger! Our justice system? People are being deemed "guilty" (where we as a nation pride ourselves in "innocent until proven guilty") when there is little to no evidence and yet you have something like this case where ALL evidence points to this man and he still has to be presumed "innocent"? What's wrong with our judicial picture here? He is guilty as all evidence and eye witness accounts seem to play out. All we really need a jury for is to see if he gets death or life without parole for each person killed - oh, but wait, that still means the tax payer will foot the expenses. As I see it, he "fairs" well no matter the decision. In some other countries he would be brought before a firing squad as he was caught "red handed" so to speak - no "let's make a deal" in those countries - so maybe we should move it to another country instead of another county!
