I do realize that this might be a little off topic, but our house of Representatives just voted yesterday to make it a felony for a federal officer to hinder anyone from gun possession in our state. We will arrest any officer that attempts to enforce federal gun laws in Alaska that do not agree with the US Constitution. There is a huge Constitutional debate that will ensue, but at least our house has spoken. It was a 31-5 vote. I believe maybe other states will join in on this overreach by the federal govt. to our Constitutional Rights, that they have had NO PART in bestowing on us. Maybe we will have some clarification to our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

DR, you are correct, deficit is accumulated debt. But if the deficit goes one way, the debt has to go that way as well. And that is NOT the case!! It is not even slowing down. We do not need to cut the INCREASES, we need to cut into the principle, and that is not happening!!! We HAVE to pay the piper some day.
DR, I went and re-read about debt and deficit. Deficit is just accumulated debt. If the debt is going down, so will the deficit. You cannot have one go one way, and the other go the other way. All of the debt/deficit is funded by Treasury. We need to disband the Federal Reserve, thus doing away with the Treasury!!! We need our money backed by something OTHER than more paper!!!

I hope you and yours are well. It is the beautiful time of the year here. Cool clear mornings, some snow to make everything look all pretty and white and clean, and nice long warm days. Everything is relative though, we had two mornings of 40 below and highs of 5 to 10 below, but it is really nice.
