Way to go on this one,,,, Parents who received this call went to go and pick their children up from school who rode the buses and guess what happens,, the buses were sent out on regular schedule. Parents were sitting out front waiting and were told your child is already on the bus heading home.

This does not surprise me at all. We seen Matt at the Kangeroo in Vass a few months ago and he was high as a kite, you could smell the weed coming from his car, and he was alone so noone can say the weed was not his lol.I feel so sorry for his family, they are great people.
On the policy changing, the policy on bullying and harrassment needs to be addressed and possible all schools be forced to use the policy simply because the principals at union pines high seem to not understand that they have students attending that are nothing but bullies and when they are reported, the so called principals do nothing but slap them on the wrist and say dont do it again and send them to class. It is time that the teachers and principals start taking charge and stop letting the bullies have control. And yes I have complained and in return have been lied to by the school and board.It is time students take a stand and know they have rights that are suppose to protect them from bullies.

If you were not at the game ,then dont pass judgement on either school until you know the real facts and the media will not post the entire truth either.
I am so very proud of the fourth graders,my daughter loved the dancing and costumes she was able to wear.The pictures are wonderful. Thank you Mrs. Santiago and The Pilot. My daughter loves seeing her photo in the paper and we are very proud.
