@dusty: you asked why you should be polite? 90% of life consists of manners. If you will get some tutoring I'n that regard, I will take your writing more seriously.
@EMB6683: MacArthur was the archtect of the Pacific War because of his 'island hopping" strategy which created the logistical ability to fight a successful war with a major power while most troops and equipment were committed on the other side of the world. Truman could have "summoned" a number of generals or admirals to take on the Korean war. He chose and summoned MacArthur because of MacArthur's knowledge of the Russian effort at the end of World war II to assert its authority in the Pacific and his knowledge of the area. He also knew that MacArthur was best for the job that Truman had bungled, i.e. refusing to forbid the Soviets from entering the Japanese War in August, 1945. This failure together with failing to fully support the Chinese Nationalists was a cause of the Korean war
@jim: it is not the taxes. Spending is the problem. If you keep chasing spending with taxes you will never catch up no matter what your justification. There is always a good reason to spend but the result is a devalued dollar. College loans are similar. The more you spend the more bloated college budgets get and the less incentive colleges have to make their courses relevant to the job needs of the country.
We need less spending, fewer government guarantees and greater reliance on the free market to create jobs and provide relevant education to feed those markets with qualified workers
If we cut back on student loans, perhaps universities would make their professors actually teach rather than publish papers that no one reads. Perhaps universities would then trim their bloated budgets and give students real value for their tuition.
The technical legal result in any state would be the same:
1. Even if Zimmerman was the original aggressor , he retreated to his car.
2. When Trevon "cold cocked" Zimmerman on the back of the head while he was retreating, Martin became the aggressor and engaged in an illegal act.
3. At that point, Zimmerman had the right to use deadly force to protect himself as he was being beaten to the ground.
It was not smart for Zimmerman to play "armed vigilante". It was just a's stupid for Martin to hit Zimmerman from behind while Zimmerman retreated. But it was also criminal for NBC to doctor The 911 tape and for the New York Times and NPR to call Zimmerman a "white Hispanic" to create a liberal cover story and incite riot.
There is plenty of blame and it does not all belong to George Zimmerman.

Side by side with traditional bulbs. The government knows they cannot. So they say " the poor be damned" everyone must pay $4 for gas and $3 for a lightbulb to make some liberal feel better about global warming, a change which answers Canadian prayers for a Northeest Passage.

Kahn had a good idea, just a different direction and a wall instead of a river. Otherwise, correct.
