And MC7, your distain for "CAPITALIST PIGS" whom you consider "THE ENEMY" is a view that many folks on my side believe Obama identifies with, and secretly shares with you. Thanks for letting us know how you and many other liberals really feel about this. It may be an eye-opener for some, but to others (including me), it simply confirms what we always suspected. From now on, when someone here accuses anyone here of "racism" simply for opposing Obama policies, I suspect the reply might be, "Obama thinks I'm a CAPITALIST PIG." Again, thanks for saying out loud what many liberals only share secretly with one another.
JER-- Very thoughtful posts. As to Rush, whether a sincere apology takes 3 parts (as you described) is up for debate among many people, although I tend to agree somewhat with your view. As a Christian, to me an apology is seeking out the person you offended, privately offering an apology, and seeking some sort of reconciliation or redemption. Whether Rush chooses the "normal" apology accepted in today's political circles (i.e. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone"), is up to him. My post of the Kirsten Powers' link was only to highlight the selective outrage. I hear alot on this blog: "Why didn't you condemn __ (insert Bush, Congress, etc.) when they were doing it?" Best I can tell, no liberal here has ever condemned Bill Maher's vulgar comments (jimt said he wasn't aware of them, and when I posted them here, he fell silent). Rush was wrong to say what he said about Ms. Fluke. As to Obama's "behind enemy lines" quote, I suppose I can see where you are coming from. I had lots of jobs when I was younger that I hated, but I needed the money. But I never thought of my boss or my company as "the enemy." I am suspicious of Obama's distain for the free market. I am also suspicious of Romney's health care mandate, and whether he truly believes in the free market. Thanks for the reply, my friend!
MCNative (1 hour, 37 min. ago)-- In one post, you label Republicans in Moore County as being "mentally challenged," and complain that the Obama "bashing" is the product of Republicans' "uneducated drivel." You conclude by saying: "I am ashamed to be a Republican." I suspect you're not ashamed at all. Anymore than I'm ashamed to be a Democrat.
fugitiveguy-- Watch the video again and pay attention to the scene at the end where the 2 cars fly over the back/sides of the caddy...they left the ramps (behind the caddy) in the shot! And I thought Ponch did all his own stunts. I want Steve Austin.
MC7-- I am terrible at research. But since Obama (according to Obama) had only about one real job in the private sector before becoming a community organizer, I tried to find out what that one job actually was: http://sweetness-light.com/archive/did-obama-turn-down-a-wall-street-career. What does "behind enemy lines" actually mean? Can you please tell us: who was "the enemy?" Thanks, and welcome back! (P.S.-- Was he "showy" in that job?)

JER-- Fair enough...you did not like or read my link because an "I stand with Rush Limbaugh" advertisement. But the quote is from Obama's own book. If you have any doubt, here it is re-quoted by the UK Telegraph: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/stephaniegutmann/8870206/Does_Barack_Obama_hate_free_enterprise_/. So my question to MC7 and you remains: who is the enemy? As to Rush, the liberal columnist Kirsten Powers has now written two columns about the Left's selective outrage over Rush's comments about Ms. Fluke. Here is Power's second column: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/08/critics-of-rush-limbaugh-ignore-bill-maher-matt-taibbi-misogyny.html. Rush rightfully apologized for his comments. Let me know what you think of Obama's quote. Thanks.
