JimHeim-- "So far no one has shown that anyone has been targeted." Unless you exclude the Inspector General, who (in just their initial report) found that the IRS began targeting conservative groups beginning in 2010: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/05/irs-began-targeting-conservatives-in-2010/. JimHeim, I'm sure you are a nice guy, but on issues like this, you may want to follow the lead of Louis Lerner and take the 5th. Cheers!

JimHeim-- Be careful about the "gay" thing. Spock might get mad at you. Cheers!

JimRussell44-- The entire Constitution is near and dear to my heart, including the Fifth Amendment. However, it is my understanding that the 5th applies only to answers, if given, which may implicate you in a crime...in which case the witness may plead the 5th and remain silent. I may be wrong about this, but I believe I am correct. That said, when a senior IRS official like Lerner tells Congress in advance that she will invoke her 5th amendment rights, doesn't that tend to imply that criminal activity may have taken place? To me, Lerner's announcement may take the IRS scandal to a whole new level. Dark times indeed. Cheers!

DR-- Many liberals here seem to suggest "nothing to see here" about the IRS scandal and the other Obama scandals. Some even cite polls claiming the public doesn't care. As a liberal, what do you think about Louis Lerner, the top IRS official in charge of targeting conservative groups, who has decided to plead the Fifth Amendment and will refuse to answer questions by Congress? http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-top-irs-official-fifth-amendment-20130521,0,6645565.story. Do you think the public will care about this? Should the public care? As a lawyer, I'd like to hear your take on this. Please let us know. Cheers!

JimRussell44 (1 hour, 43 min. ago)-- I have no quarrel with the premise of your assertion that the Special Op gentleman is our "employee." But wouldn't you agree that everyone in the federal government, including Obama, is our "employee" as well, and answerable to us? Assuming that you agree, how do you feel about Louis Lerner, one of the top IRS officials in charge or targeting conservative groups, who will be pleading the Fifth Amendment about her activity and will refuse to answer questions before Congress? http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-top-irs-official-fifth-amendment-20130521,0,6645565.story. I'm honestly interested in your take on this. Cheers!

Hembloche-- I obviously do not know which Christian told you that you were going "to burn in hell for eternity." Whoever it was was grossly mistaken, as they are not the judge of such things. And for what it's worth, and to the extent that I can, as a Christian, apologize for the offensive remarks of others, please accept my apology for such hurtful and theologically unsound insults. My best to you. Cheers!

DR-- Spock does not "discredit" conservatives any more than Reggie "discredits" liberals, such as yourself. In fact, based upon the comments here and elsewhere, conservatives are far more likely to call out Spock for his vile posts than liberals are to post any disagreement with Reggie. And no, I do not expect you or other liberals here to constantly monitor Reggie's gross posts. Nor do I think Reggie speaks for you or other liberals here. Please give this some thought. Cheers!

JimRussell44-- "From this I conclude that you believe Jesus Christ, who is the Son of the God that created everything, was unable to write, sign His name or make His mark." Your conclusion that I believe that Jesus could not read or write is incorrect: http://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/stewart.cfm?ID=192. Your conclusion that I believe Jesus is the Son of the God that created everything is correct. Lastly, you say, "I admire your faith." Thank you. My best to you. Cheers!

It might prove useful for any leftists who seek to ignore reality to really learn the nuts and bolts of the phrase, "Nothing to see here," especially how to say it with the conviction that makes people believe you, like here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSjK2O.... Cheers!

DoubleHeroides-- I apologize for the gruesome nature of the video posted regarding the Christians being slaughtered with tanks, but it was necessary to put the "one hand" comments into proper context. Cheers!
