If Moore County wants to keep it's tourism industry Mr. Kennedy better be looking out for us. I doubt it will happen but who is going to look out for us?
North Carolina is a virgin state, when fracking comes there will be no turning back. How can politicians get away with their conflict of interests? It's so obvious we will not be protected by the people we elect to do that very thing; it's always the money. If only NC would take a stand against fracking, we would be knows as the pristine piece of the country that held out to preserve it's beauty and it's citizens.
I just don't understand it, we do need to make cuts but we also need to increase taxes. It's the only sensible solution. It's looking more and more that the Republicans are so pissed that Obama won they are determined to punish the whole country for it. The solution isn't in either plan but a combination of each. Make cuts and increase taxes.

wdd101st, your attitude towards women reflects you age. This is not the draft forcing inept people to become solders. We're talking about women who want to go into battle and have the strength and toughness to be relied upon by her equals. Yes, there are women out there you wouldn't want to meet in a dark ally and if they qualify with the same standards as men then why shouldn't they fight?
