number two - there has been no mention of an AR being used in the "breaking news" in TX; actually, a local newspaper is reporting that the shooting was actually shootout between two people who were using pistols. You know, like what happens with thugs everyday in large cities?
If the left really cared about decreasing gun violence in general, why not pass damning sentences for any crime in which the defendant uses a firearm? LIFE sentences for armed robbery, assault with a firearm, attempted murder with a firearm, rape with a firearm, etc..
If you want to have a civilized discussion about gun problems, then ok; but don't try to punish good law abiding citizens because the courts won't sufficiently punish and deter the bad citizens.

1 - it is ABSOLUTELY legal to hunt deer with an AR15 in NC
2 - middleast terrorists do not use an AR15 (obviously you've never met one of these POS)
3 - try to spend 5 min on google, and search for "examples of home defense with an AR15
4 - AR15s are EXCELLANT for target shooting, because they are very accurate and flat shooting

The liberals keep referring to ARs as assault rifles in order to demonize them. I feel as though you are better than that, yet I noticed you have referred to them twice in this thread incorrectly as well.
I wonder if Mr. John Chappell will update his caption under the picture, or if he will keep feeding the machine by continuing to refer to black, semiautomatic rifles as, "assault rifles" - which, as already been pointed out a million times already, is inaccurate and a fallacy.
