Lady Pats Rout Richmond
I was actually at the game. Starters played all of 20 minutes. It was halfway competitive until Richmond gave up four goals in less than four minutes late in the second half. "Coach" did all he could.

North Moore Rallies Past South Stanly
Four games photographed, three different players' pictures published. That's not too bad of a batting average, but I got you, lee. Just keep checking us out. Of course, with a team like this, you really hope they're getting their headlines in May.

Spring Sports Updates
We reported on Pinecrest's finish at the Keith Hills tournament, I believe on Sunday. Here's the text:
Pinecrest Golfers Finish Fourth Freshman Zachary Martin shot a 74 to lead Pinecrest as it opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Keith Hills High School Kickoff tournament in Buies Creek. Leesville Road was first with a team score of 298, followed by Clayton (301), Broughton (302) and Pinecrest (306), among the more than 20 teams in the event. Also for the Patriots, Bryan Stewart and Austin Dunlap each posted a 76, Dylan Harris came in at 80 and Sam Kosich shot an 81. The team begins Southeastern 4A Conference play on Monday with a match at Foxfire Resort and Golf Club.

UP Baseball, Tennis Notch Wins
I'm still trying to figure out how Southern Lee didn't win it last year, or Triton for that matter. Harnett Central has a great baseball program, but that still caught me by surprise.

North Moore Games Pushed Back
I'll see what I can do. With all games off tonight, Friday's paper might be a good day to do that.
