We have poor and needy here in this country, but not at the level of the poor in some other places in the world. Most of the hunger and poverty here in the US is almost entirely due to the neglect of an adult that is responsible or in charge of the child/children. Lots of resources are availiable, but they have to be sought out, and or used correctly. God bless all the children of the world, and pray for those in need.

A woman and man married are not the same as a woman and woman, or man and man. The only reason this is a issue is the same benefits granted to a natural married couple is wanted by others who are not married as the letter of the law states. You want one thing, and take from another to get it. The same old system used by some politicians to take from one,s rights to make another group happy. Marrige is defined by law. Call your unions something else and stop trying to make others change to your ideas, and way of thinking. The insurance companies etc. will pick your group up eventually, and if not tough.

The big question here is why do all people, poor, rich,and in the middle pay so much, and so many taxes in the first place? We always want to argue about who's paying how much, but not whats being done with what's being collected already!

The taxes on consumers, and services offered is as fair accross the board as you can get. The reason why you work is to make a dollar, and keep all of it you can, until you decide how to spend it, not until someone else takes it, or tells you how to spend it.
