Chris has served the Town of Carthage with respect, courage, professionalism and a passion to make Carthage a better place to live. I want thank him and his family for their service to our town and for his always willing to take time to talk with my son in I when we visited the PD. Traffic stops are a part of our law enforcement doing their job. I have no problem going through them, one because I have nothing to hide, and two it makes me feel safer that the officers are doing their best and looking after our community. I am really tried of everyone bashing our law enforcement in Moore County. I have grown up with quite a few and they are outstanding officers. Let them do their job! What would have happen IF there was a drunk driver just down the road and he/she hit your car and God forbid killed you or your wife. Then the article would be how the PHPD wasn't doing their job. Traffic stops are a part of driving, if you don't like them, stop driving!
Make sure you vote for the Marching Vikings! They are in desperate need of new instruments and uniforms. The instruments have been patched as much as they can be and the uniforms have seen better days. ALL three of the marching kids of Moore County work extremely hard to accomplish their performance each year. Marching kids spend 8-10 hours days 4 days a week in the summer and this grant would be a wonderful part of their hard work. Please support the band and help their music tradition continue.
@silentbob- Toda and one more individual that post negative on each story in Moore County really should create their own county where everything is "right". They would have the PERFECT police force, schools, medical care and towns people! They really need a hobby other than bashing Moore County! Pretty sure most of us would help them pack and move them to their wonderful new land of the "perfects". I am really tired of hearing them complain about how things are in Moore County and yet I see them doing NOTHING to change what THEY think is wrong EXCEPT complain on the Pilot. SICK of these two bashing "our county"!!!! Get the heck out if there's so much wrong with it!

What Was the Reason For the Traffic Stop?

SCC Hiring More Faculty
