I thought the rails on the CSX S line were still jointed...

it's not like the S line through Aberdeen and Southern Pines is a busy rail line anyways. It's only used by locals and Amtrak. I remember in the early 80's when several trains a day used it.

Did the idiot that wrote this realize knives, hands, feet and clubs have been responsible for more violent deaths in this country than any type of firearm? If it wasn't for the worthless ACLU that nut in Newtown would've been locked up.

Yeah I didn't think I was crazy. Detroit: ruled by left wing nutjobs since 1973. Come enjoy the entitlement society and poverty!

Call me crazy, but there's probably more poverty in all of Detroit than in one entire southern state. I've been there several times, from the "good times" (I use that term loosely) of the clinton administration up until a few years ago.

When I still lived in Aberdeen I had a leak in my basement from a pin hole in a wore out copper pipe. My bill came and it was over $300. Went down to the town hall and the wiped the bill out. I usually paid about $20 a month. Of course that was 2002. My water bill here in Miami is $35 a month.

I'd been going to that store since I was a kid and it was a Piggly Wiggly. Bought all of my meat from there until I left Aberdeen in 2004. Not a fan of government grants, but it's nice to see John will have the place back up and running. Was always the best "butcher shop" in town as far as I was concerned. Couldn't beat those $5 New York Strips. They weren't small either.
