Excellent comment fugitiveguy. Parental involvement is also key to the overall success of most schools. Would you not assume that parents could become involved in a school that is 5 minutes from their home easier than one that is 30 minutes away.
So, the democrats are all about creating jobs? I guess a reflection of their ability to do that would be the stimulus package? Since that worked so well, why did we have to extend the unemployment benefits for another eternity? Nothing like a bunch of jerks that have never had to actually work for a paycheck or hired anyone other than a staff member to tell those that have how to do it. The only job the demoncrats have ever preformed is a hose job on the taxpayers.
Hey Todo, is there some topic in which you don't feel you have the expertise to criticize? There was plenty of equipment and people to respond to any other emergencies that might have come up during this particular response. I have over 23 years experience in the volunteer fire service. Never been paid a dime to do it. I am as equally trained and qualified as any paid fireman. I do it because somebody needs to and I am trained and capable. It's ill informed people like you that make a lot of us ask ourselves why we even bother.
