Jim Heim……If you want to think it’s not a problem for a President to send out his lackey to lie to the American people, go ahead. I’m outraged and you should be too.
When the Bush Administration was accused of doing something wrong, Dusty and the Dems went after him with every weapon in their arsenal. Now that Obama is embroiled in scandal, they think it’s an “unprecedented opportunity to work together”. Give me a break!
The Benghazi scandal is actually worse than Watergate. In the Watergate scandal, the underlying crime, breaking into the Democratic party headquarters, was a two-bit scandal. The real problems resulted from the cover-up. It’s the cover-up that ran Nixon out of office and sent some of his top aides to prison.
With Benghazi, the underlying issue is far more serious. Our government failed to protect our diplomats and four of them died as a result. The cover-up began when the Obama Administration sent Susan Rice out to lie about it to the American people in order to support Obama’s re-election campaign. And the cover-up is continuing to this day. The Obama Administration has withheld the truth from the start and is continuing to do so. Like Watergate, the cover-up will prove to be more damaging than the underlying issue.
Small government – bad, big government – corrupt, the private sector – greedy, big banks – bad, the church – bad, the CIA – bad, representative government – gone. And solutions? There aren’t any.
WOW – I hope someone comes along and brings a little cheer into your life. You really, really need it.
Dentman65....By the way, thanks for your nice comment about my old Dodge. I've now had the interior restored too and it looks great. JNG Creations in Pittsboro did it. Lots of fun!
LadyLynda….In spite of the European experience which is in plain view for everyone to see, we indeed seem to be following them into the same hole. It’s hard to understand how anyone can ignore such evidence, but liberals believe what they believe in spite of the evidence.
Catonahottinroof…….My mother always taught me that people who call others morons are usually morons. As far as the tax & spend policies you like so well, have you taken a look at Europe to see how well those policies have worked there?
JimRussell44 suggests that maybe we should have a third party come in and make us do what we need to do. If we don't get our act together, that's exactly what will happen. The financial markets will do it for us and it will be a lot more painful than if we do it ourselves.
It’s curious that Steve readily accepts that women shouldn’t play in the NFL but at the same time, thinks they should be in combat. Don’t the same things that make them unsuitable to compete against men in the NFL (smaller size, less strength, etc.) make them equally unsuitable for combat?
Toda….So you think I should identify myself as a member of the Republican Party and Moore TEA Citizens. I’m happy and proud to do both. Do you think otherwise someone might think I’m a democrat?
