OT: Cyclist need to show respect to other people that use the roads. It's auto drivers that pay to maintain roads and cyclist should use them properly. They added a bike lane so cyclist could ride in a line. (Heimbach founded the White Students Union at Towson University and is described as a “white nationalist” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.)
“It seems to be that you’re reaching out to voters at the expense of young white Southern males,” Terry said, adding he “came to love my people and culture” who were “being systematically disenfranchised.”

Attendees interviewed by TPM afterwards expressed outrage at the way the event turned out. Not at the Terry and Heimbach — they were mad at Brown for her interruptions.

Voter ID is not a big deal. Use your liscence or get issued something proper if you aren't allowed to drive. If I have to have my liscense, registration, and proof of insurance for a road block, then we can present IDs to vote. Let's get this over with so we can move on to something important like banning fracking.

No just those that like to power trip. I don't believe that someone with 8 months of BLET should have the ability to taze or shoot me. Atleast make it where they need a 2 year basic law and then we can talk about getting them some better pay.
People think like that because of experiential evidence. I personally know 2 Pinebluff officers who love to give skater kids grief if they are just going down the side walk. One even joked about how sad the kid was when he confiscated his skateboard even though the child was using it for transport and not a daredevil device.
Bad cops give good police officers bad names. And the brotherhood of blue never likes to air their dirty laundry. He may have been crazy, but Donner was fired from the police department for snitching on two officers abusing an old man. Easier to fire the snitch than to clean house.
North Carolina is not known for the professionalism of their officers. We had a police chief near Raleigh blackmail officers wives into affairs with him with threats to their husbands careers. Officers past Laurenburg (2007ish) were caught skimming drugs from busts and selling it themselves.
