My question is what was done that was illegal?

Meaning, I acknowledge that the IRS leaned heavily on certain groups, but isn't that what the IRS does? They were just more strict and observant of those groups.

Who doesn't dislike the tax man? I became disagreeable over the whole thing when Jindal was calling for those involved to be arrested. I don't like the IRS and am a Fair Tax advocate, but why should someone be jailed for over-scrutinizing an organizations tax returns?

Obama administration talking about jailing journalists that help whistle blowers is more scandalous.

I'm against taxpayers footing the bill Billions upon Billions of taxpayer money

Show me where the Harris family wants 'billions on billions." This is government intervention of farmers transitioning. I agree with the Argand President," It's sort of hypocritical" and "They're also putting up a roadblock for farmers who are trying to decide the best use for their land."

Do you know how difficult it is for a family farmer to compete against Big Farm? If he wants to change his business model that is the purpose of federal grants and tax credits. Do you believe the Harris family is trying to defraud people by getting a grant? Not trying to start an argument but I don't see why a county board should hinder this family's opportunity when there aren't negative side effects to the environment or local economy.

And yet the county board is ok with Fracking and are trying to encourage residents to join them in cheerleading for poisoning our ground water. But "oh no cannit hav dat guvmint money halping out. Oh lawd naw, cannit hav nun dat guvmint money"

If the Harris family wants to reappropriate their land and do the paper work and diligence to get a government grant that will help transition part of their business. They should be allowed too. This is local government stymying business. I thought we were pro business or is just for Southern Software, didn't Slick Nick get 'guvmint' money for getting his product installed in the Jail Mahal?

You evidently have no clue.

Neat. Remember god is an omnipotent being with a large inferiority complex and rage issues. Much like those that love to read the fairy tales made up by desert dwellers about said large temper tantrum having deity.

Oh and I look forward to Spock's troll lines and watching the Pilot turn in it's death throes with what I think will be hilarious responses.

I would put money that not even our Charlotte Bobcats would sign this guy if he hadn't of come out of the closet.

But the Bobkitties are only a graduation program for UNC-CH. So unless he went to that school (he didn't, guess there wasn't an available coach for his mom to date), there is little chance the house that MJ is destroying would even want him.

*Now this conjures up an image of someone who is out of shape and jealous."

Sorry Amerifat, you must be conjuring that image by projecting.

I'm more annoyed by bicyclist that refuse to ride in a line, stick their cottage cheese stuffed spandex in the air, and their lack of respect for drivers wanting to get around them so they can do the speed limit.

I agree with the assertions that Jason Collins is a scrub doing this for attention. Being gay has nothing to do with playing basketball. And to correct Chuck Taylor it was 1.1 ppg. Collins did this to keep trying to make a living. I don't care about orientation of players. The whole point of sports is to play and excel at that level of play.

I am sad that sports critics who approach this appropriately are called homophobic because they point out his bad stats.

Our metered model will allow nonsubscribers to view five articles free of charge every month. That doesn’t include breaking news, classified ads and obituaries.

Neat. You guys really want to help the Sandhills Tribune out. Glad I use ad-block when coming here.

calling it instead fantasy or ignorance.

Calls'em how I see'em cupcake. If fairy tales make you feel better then whatever, but your defensive and hurt tone let me know how little you actually believe in what you regurgitate. Again, I can tolerate your ignorance, but you can't show me an example of a "good Christian" tolerating anything their book speaks out about. Sure these people in the article are Christian (because they say they are that's all it takes) but then you got Christians down the street saying how the pastor is going to hell for being gay. Facts are facts and your book has no reference to facts, just belief in fairy tales.

So your definition of "tolerance" means giving a pass to your intolerance? It's only tolerance when it is given to them. They don't dole out tolerance only expect to be gifted it. That's what Jeebus would do.
