I don't recall this article saying anything about the North Moore people. I believe a writer for the pilot wrote this and if you took the time to research what he is saying, you would find it to be true. As a parent of a PC player I would like to see NM take their bats and go home when it comes to softball. I'm sure they have beaten us and UP up for many years now. I can only remember us beating them once and I can't ever recall UP beating them. The point is that rules should be applied the same throughout the state. I'm for options in education, but if you ask to play in a league you should be required to play by the same rules. If this was affecting P.C. and it will, people down here would be marching in the streets.
I wouldn't count on the NCHSAA to do much. People need to put pressure on their House and Senate Reps. They are the ones who opened these flood gates without researching the facts. Sports is a huge part of many peoples lives, and parents (Voters) don't like seeing their children cheated out of those dreams.

In baseball I see all of our county schools winning their first round games. In softball North Moore wins. Pinecrest is a tough call but I think we can win this one as well. I don't see Union Pines winning. I still feel like they play in the weakiest conference in the state, and that usually comes back and bites you in the playoffs.

What have I lost? But if you die without believing on His name and find out it was all true. What have you lost? Just thinking out loud. I will vote for the marriage amendment, but I'm not going to hate on those who don't. There is a story in God's word where we are told to let the wheat and the tares grow side by side. God tells us that it is His responsibility to seperate them. So go vote as you please and we can still be friends, but in the end God will judge us all.
Hello all pilot reporters. Does Pinecrest or NM have a softball team or do we continue to get to hear about UP who plays in the weakiest softball conference in the state. How bout a little coverage from those teams, because I am willing to bet that NM is playing longer than any other county team. Wish I could say that about PC but it will happen.
I like the fact that UP beat Richmond. Since we beat UP maybe we will be able to handle Richmond in conference play. I don't put much into homeruns at UP because that is the shortest fence I have ever seen.

First of all if the Ross kid is as great as nbmoore states shouldn't there be state championship banners in all sports she plays in?? Greatness is a word parents used to describe their kids. I feel sorry for the coaches at that school. What I've heard is the parents of Ross have attacked the coach and the admin with some very harsh words. If this is true and it continues then maybe it's time to deal with them. I know of at least six different parents that have said the same. Truth is UP wasn't as good as they have been in the past. No point guard. Hicks stepped up and filled the role that the TEAM needed and for that along she is my POY. Thanks Crystal. Next, isn't UP 0-2 in softball this year? Lost to NM and PC. Crystal could you please join the softball team and help them out.
