If Mr. Morphis comes to the county and does business with both Robbins and Aberdeen, will he charge both municipalities travel expenses, etc.? Why must we feel the need to look outside the county for legal representation? The article didn't mention Robbins' financial agreement with Mr. Gill. I hope Robbins has very deep pockets.
There certainly are some fine lawyers in our county. So why would Aberdeen choose as their town attorney one from the prestigious and quite expensive Brough Law Group in Chapel Hill. Just some food for thought for taxpayers.

Are you aware how negatively this Amendment will affect single mothers with children, the unmarried or widowed, and senior citizens? As a person who is quickly approaching senior citizen- hood and is single with only a few family members (no children), it is frightening. If you actually read the body of the proposal, you would most probably be concerned to note the rights that will be taken away. It is hard for me to fathom that, in this day and time, we will most likely pass a constitutional amendment that effectively removes the right to certain personal decision making.
