thank you Davy, when I called Supthn I had all intentions of getting Sam back to her until she told me he's kept in the garage with a doggie door. WHO KEEPS A DOG IN THE GARAGE.

He was very sweet, got along with my dog and the cats. Slept in the bed with me and the other pets. It's hard to think he is back in the garage. Sutphin told me to put him a crate and ship himn back, she said he loves the crate....I could not get him in a crate, he fought it tooth and nail. I am actually sorry I ever called that woman.

I think everyoe has missed the point. The dog came from a field into the North bound lane. We slammed on the breaks to avoid hitting it. He ran into the bushes at the side of the road. I gott out of the car to make sure he was not under the car. When I saw him he came right to me. Now all we see is ope fields and one hoouse on the north side of the road. We asked and she said, it was not her dog but there is a woman up the street that let's her dogs run. I saw no drive way, or fence or mail boxes. We had been driving for 9 hours and at the rate of speed we were going do you think I just hapened to look out the window and saw a 4 pound dog sitting in a driveway? When I called Dianne the dog had already been castrated and chipped. When she told me about keeping the dog in the garage with the dog door and no collar, I didn't think she was a respnsible owner and said so before I hung up. It was pretty hard talking with her as she never shuts up. When I learned that I had to return the dog I did so. She should have posted a notice in the paper. The police department here would laugh if I reported a lost dog and we were told that the shelters only keep the lost pet three days and then destroy them. After reading this rule on line and seeing all the lost and found ads in the paper I truley believed no one wanted this little sweet thing. I am not a thief, but an animal lover and I did not want to see this little guy put down due to an unresponsible owner. It's over now and I hope Sam never get's out again and the Sutphin woman has learned a hard lesson. Had we not stopped we would have got him with the back wheels. Then she would really have something to carp about.
