Well, Bless your heart
It's not like us Damn Yankees want to be perceived as Red Necks because of ya’ll when we go back & visit up north.
Now this is funny, someone from the south accusing someone else of talking funny. When I 1st moved to the south, it took me months to figure out what the heck ya'll were say'n. Ya'll should be glad those damn Yankees come to visit or stay, else ya'ld be collect'n food stamps. Bless your heart!
I can understand the parent being upset (as I would be too), but filing assault charges for an incident that resulted in minor injuries is just a little too much. If this was a repeated offense, then I could see filing charges. I'm also sure there is more than just the child’s & mother’s side of what really happened. Is the teacher normally violent, have other children be injured, was this just an event that just got a little out of hand, did the teacher need to be a little more physical to get the child's attention or was this just an accident? These are the questions that needed answers before filing charges. I think maybe the parent may have over-reacted here.
Wouldn't it be funny if the State religion turned out to be Muslim.
Dingo & Thatch -As a kid, they tried to bully me & I did just that. Challenged the bully to a fight after school & took him out with 1 punch. Unfortunately, that won't work today, especially with the Pansification of America today.
What is really ridiculous is that most schools have a strict no tolerance policy - you draw a picture of a gun, make a pretzel look like a gun, point your finger like a gun, wear a shirt that has something they don't like printed on it, cut or dye your hair funny - you get kicked out of school. Yet the schools will do nothing about bullies.
I can finally return that copy of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" I check out in 1962.
Selective memory is a hard thing for others to live with, just ask my wife.
And according to one Pilot commentor, Wos, as the U.S. ambassador to Estonia, was forced to march in the Estonia Gay/Transgender Rights Parade.
