“Breaking the law, if you do it for God, makes it right.”
What a twisted sense of morals. This sounds just like Al Qaeda.
Why are the playoff seedings based off how these teams finish in the conference tournamnet? Seems like how the finish in the regular season should be the determing factor.
"In fact they had every reason to believe they had it in the second before the change of a decision by the umpires took two runs off the scoreboard"
Reminds me of 79' - Mike Antle hit a line-drive home run that was ruled a "double" by the umpire. Then PC catcher Edgar Cole was called for a balk which allowed the wining run to score from 3rd base.
Never seen a "balk" called on a catcher before or since!
The_AnonymusProfit - outstanding commentary.
I didn't come here to argue, just giving another perspective as the Father of a teenage daughter. Southern Pines is a great place, but I think the author of the article has a point in regards to that area. I grew up here, played basketball on those same courts as a teenager myself, and it does seem to have gotten a lot more crowded than when the police station was next door.
I've found that since the relocation of the police station, the basketball court area has become a place I avoid when I'm walking with my daughter. Anyone responding to this article that does not have a teenage daughter really can't identify with the author, but the "reality" is that area has become a gathering point for high numbers of young males (black and white) that aren't exactly choir boys.
This discussion is so gay.
A very scrappy team they have this year.......GO PATRIOTS!
25 MPH wind gust, 330 straight away center and 220 down the lines didn't hurt either.
Can't we all just get along?...:>
