Bflat, you need to sit down and listen closely to the tape! You're not making sense.

ok cookie, what does your statement above mean?- "And as for knowing this preacher.... yea I know him. I'll just leave it at that". That reveals your motive for making this story up. You have something against Reverend Barbery. It's a concocted story because the fonts are clearly different!!!!! I think you need to get down on your knees and ask God to forgive you. As for Curtis Barbery, he preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and doesn't compromise. He's also a fine man who very obviously loves his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ very very much.

No brainer, the fonts are different. Go to tmz.com and search "Baptist Church Beyonce" then compare the two - see the Ss and the Rs. I'll bet Cookie won't call Mr. Chappell. Maybe Cookie knows photoshop.

Here are a few facts about the Caddell's and the town of Carthage.

  1. Larry had wanted a large tract of land primarily to hunt on for many years. He found it and purchased it several years before their home burned. They simply decided to build on that tract rather than rebuilding in Berryfield. The property is just outside of town.
  2. Larry does in fact love his hometown. His love for Carthage is well documented. It's always been obvious and not even debatable.
  3. The Caddell's insurance agent is not George Little.
  4. The Caddell's did have an alarm system in the house that burned. A tree located off the back left corner approx. 25 feet from their home was hit by lightning. There were several close strikes in that neighborhood that night. There was disturbed soil from the tree directly towards the house. The power was obviously knocked out when the strike occurred.
  5. Carthage is the seat of government for Moore County. Carthage is not Pinehurst or Myrtle Beach or Charleston; it's the center of government for the county. Government buildings are naturally built in the county seat. A large part of the new building is the Sheriff's office and 911 emergency center, i.e. it's not all jail. Activity in these buildings brings people into town which supports private businesses here.

I'm with clodfelter37, these same loose cannons have found something else to complain about. It's an excellent idea to move it there. The monuments in Yankee Stadium belong there, not on 42nd street in downtown New York. The McConnell monument belongs at the airport that is named after him! Plumblevel's comment is ridiculous and a waste of space. Like the same detention center comments that she makes over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Good move by the town board. Patrick should have been removed a long time ago. She should also be sent a bill for the cost of the investigations her false allegations have caused. More than one state employee would have made the trip from Fayetteville, spending many hours to investigate these claims, costing taxpayers plenty in the process.
