CC85: I can answer your question. My daughter was a student at Stars for Elementary Studies and then The Academy for her Middle School Studies. She then went on to Pinecrest, where she has continued to flourish. I can say without a doubt, the move from Pinehurst Elementary to "Stars" was the best move ever! They focus more on the individual child, where Pinehurst Elementary had 33 students in a class. And no, she did not have behavioral problems, but definitly needed that "one on one" time with her teacher.
Thanks Stars..I thank you and I know my daughter thanks you.
LOL, I was thinking the same thing.
I have two bikes that I would like to donate. What are the hours/days for donations?
I too, rode the Mega Drop for the first time this year. I thought I was going to pass out when we reached the top. All I could think about during the way up, was why, did I, a happily married mother of four, make the hairbrain decision to get on this ride? As I watched the people get smaller and smaller, I just wanted to tell them to stop and let me off, but of course I couldn't do that. When we reached the top I held my breath for the inevitible drop....Ugh, my stomach was doing flip flops. When the Mega dropped, my stomach lurched. I felt light headed, like I was going to pass out or die. It felt like a free fall to death. I will never ever ever never ever get on this ride again... Can't wait till next year!
I hope next time Halloween falls on the weekend, Moore County municipalities will set a day and time. Lots of folk are confused.
It's about time. This school has a long history. (Back when it was called EDUCARE) I, myself filed a complaint when my daughter came home with a black eye. Nobody knew how she got it, etc... They didn't give me a courtesy call at work when it happened or anything. I hope it stays closed.
I have to say I agree with Coffecreme again. This is NOT about officers enforcing laws. I have a family member that works in law enforcment and I respect what they do on a daily basis.
The majority of officers do a wonderful job, protecting and serving the community. But there are those few who are, plain and simple, ---holes!
Toda: My run-in with Ofc. M from Pinehurst Pd was awhile ago, and I decided(at that time) not to report him. I figured he was probably having a "bad" day and was not always an ---hole. Well since then, I have heard ATleast 3 people complain about this particular officer...Guess he IS always an ---hole!
Yep, that's the same guy..Very nasty attitude!
Coffecreme, I wonder if this is the same officer that I had a run-in with? He had a really nasty attitude...
Toda, this officer's last name starts with a "M". I don't want the pilot to delete my post, so that's the best I can do without saying his whole name..
Pizza very good here. Better than Dominos and Lil C's (IMO). Prices are pretty good too. You must try their Pzone's. They are delicious. BBQ wings are fantasitc too. I try not to eat pizza much(its fattening) but when I do, it's Pizza Hut all the way.
