Shouldn't Golf Carts Pull Over?
Last week I found myself behind the dreaded "golf cart". It was 5pm. Traffic was hectic. As I pulled into The Gun Club, I slowly followed, expecting the person to pull over. Well he wouldn't. He just keep driving in the middle of the lane, ignoring me. It wasn't safe to pass him, so I had to follow him for a good 7 minutes. Darn it, he was going my way. I didnt want to honk the horn and scare the elderly person. So I just kept following for a few more minutes. Finally in a safe area to pass, I roared pass this driver, honking my horn and giving him the evil eye. I was surprised to see the driver of this cart with headphones on. Yes headphones.! He wouldn't even look my way. He never pulled his cart to the side of the road, and I know he saw me. I saw him looking in those little mirrors they have.
I hate this new town ordinance. It would be nice if pinehurst pd patroled this area in the afternoons.
