Walhalla Farm Dressage
WalkyTalky Walhalla Farm Dressage
Lynn is a fantastic trainer, patient (God knows I've tried her's) and understanding. I have been riding with her for just under a year now and I've found her to be so incredibly knowledgeable, she truly is a natural at this. For quite a few years there, I began to think of this as more and more of a chore, each lesson had become perfunctory and reflexive, so I took a rather long break from the sport; it had lost its charm and its challenge, and I turn lost my heart in it.
Well recently I decided to pick up the spurs again. I'm glad that when I did I ran into Lynn, otherwise I might've given it all up for good. She brought fun back into my riding. Now I'll admit that it was my own fault for allowing myself to get into such a rut, but she really did reach out and help me out of it. I hope to begin showing again at some point, but that's never been the point of it for me. It's my connection to my horse, and our coordination and rhythm, moving in concert. That, to me, is what dressage is.

Wahalla Farm and Lynn Doki are the best kept secret in Moore County! I started up riding again about 3 yrs ago, my background was quarted horses and hunters but I really wanted to try dressage. Lynn, has made my dream come true. I have gone from knowing nothing about dressage, to showing at both schooling and recognized shows that I wanted to do.. She helped me find the right horse/partner, and has been training us for over a year. Her knowledge and expertise is superb, she is patient, steady and fun. Can't say how many times I've laughed and learned in 1 lesson. To watch her ride is poetry in motion, she and her horse show the true partnership that dressage is about. I've had 3 different horses at the farm, and they have all loved it. I have never seen such zen horses. What can I say she is the BEST there is out there in our area

Lynn Doki is a FANTASTIC trainer. I have been riding with her a little over 2 years and have found her patient, compassionate and makes learning dressage FUN!! She loves my horse even though he is not the typical "dressage"horse. No quick fixes but steady and patient solid dressage training. Encourages but no pressure to show. Very positive rider and trainer. Superior care at her barn-she treats her boarders horses as though they were her own. Emphasises the right horse for the rider and them becoming a team. Enjoys teaching everyone from dressage riders, hunter riders and eventers.
