Valenti's is great! I have tried at least half the menu by now and it has all been awesome. The marsala makes appearances in my dreams on a weekly basis, its that good. I usually can't even drive home from dinner at Valenti's, and not from drinking, but from having a massive food coma. The service is accomodating, friendly and attentive. There is not a better Italian restaurant in the Old North State.

THE place for Italian food in the Sandhills! I drove past this place for a year before finally checking it out. I can't believe I wasted that year! This is the penultimate Mom and Pop Italian restaurant I've been searching for in the South since moving from New York 32 years ago. Everything is excellent! If you know Eye-talian food, you know the sauce is what really counts, and theirs is wonderful! It can get crowded at times, but the staff there is in constant motion and very attentive. Their pizzas have a nice, crisp crust, plenty of cheese and plenty of toppings. And if you order the calzone or stromboli, be sure to get the small one unless you're stocking the larder for the week. They are HUGE! This place is TOPS in my book.
