Partners for Children & Families (PfCF) is a comprehensive public/private initiative assisting Moore County’s young children enter school healthy and ready to succeed. This local resource and service delivery organization is looking for the most capable and qualified individual to fill our position entitled Community Educator.
Responsibilities: This person is accountable for all PfCF efforts regarding community awareness, education, and resource development. Specific duties include (but are not be limited to):
developing educational materials, newsletters, and public service announcements; planning and coordinating educational experiences for families of young children; organizing participation in and sponsorship of community events; strengthening collaborations among partnering agencies; making presentations to local community groups; coordinating website development and maintenance; researching and identifying grant opportunities; and providing desktop publishing support;
Qualifications:
Bachelor level accredited degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, early childhood education or related field; proficient computer skills including media / publishing software; marketing, events planning, and media relations experience preferred; and possession of a valid NC driver’s license.
Hiring Range: Starting salary of $32,000 to $35,000 + benefits allocation.

The Network Advertising Representative supports the classified, 2x2 display and online ad networks for sales efforts in developing marketing materials, prospecting for new business, generating ad order confirmations, producting accounting reports, assisting in electronic ad distribution and keeping the ncpress.com website updated weekly. NCPA/NCPS is a Raleigh-based trade association serving daily and community newspapers statewide. The ideal applicant will have newspaper advertising experience with some web and graphics background.
